Skill Level: Intermediate

Size:6-8 Months - 18 inches at underarm

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn:
Red (R) - 4 oz;
White (W) - 5 ozs;
Navy Blue (B) - 4 ozs;
¾" Buttons - 8; Yarn Needle.

Crochet hook: Size H or size for correct gauge. One size smaller hook for edging.

Gauge: 4 sts = 1"; 4 rows = 2"

Patriotic Baby Bunting Crochet Pattern

My very first design was a Baby Bunting very similar to this one. I used to take my daughter out wearing this design. She looked adorable and everyone loved it. This item is the pattern only for a bunting that is crocheted with worsted weight yarn and an H hook. Size fits newborn to 18 mos. When the infant reaches walking stage, the bottom seam may be removed and bunting can be used as a robe or long sweater jacket in cooler weather. "Tara" in the photo is 18 months. There's even a star at the tip of her hat!
