Hello, I recently purchased the Dainty Ripple Layette and corresponding yarn. I found the pattern to be accurate and easy to follow. Today I received a blue ribbon at the county fair for this project. Thank you for such a great design!

I received the box of goodies last week for our celebration of National Crochet month in March, and I just want to send a big Thank You! Our members will enjoy the adorable butterfly pattern, and the ornaments are absolutely gorgeous!! I'm going to print the year on the back in gold ink to commemorate the special day, and I'm sure they will be a treasured keepsake for everyone who attends.
Your generosity, especially in these tough economic times, is greatly appreciated!

I just want Maggie to know, and those who work for her, that her email is the one I open first every day! I don't know why I am so fascinated with her crochet patterns but I absolutely love them!!!! I still have not found a crochet jacket (for lack of better word) that I want, but want to attach a picture of my friend with hers on. She said she bought it, but with Maggie's expertise in design I just know she could create an easy one similar to this. Hopefully I would be the first to purchase it!!!! Thanks for your email and thanks for shipping my doll patterns today!  I appreciate you!

I just completed a carnation from the free pattern section. I hesitate to but patterns as I am not very good at figuring out what they mean. The carnation was very easy to understand and it looks so good, I will make more of them for Easter corsages.

I also used the lace cross pattern from the free section and it was terrific. I made 35 of them to give to my friends. They all prayed for our grandson during his recent illness and I thought it would be a nice Thank You gift and a reminder that their prayers are truly appreciated.

Thank you for allowing some of your patterns to be free, I will certainly be on the look out for more simple to understand projects.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful patterns and wonderful advice! I am so thankful that I have found your site!

Oh my gosh! You will bankrupt me. I was trying to find afghan books online that showed at least a few of the pattern contained within the book. And I happened upon your site. I was 65% of the afghan patterns shown! My sister is expecting again - my niece told her it was a boy inside her tummy - and I was thrilled with the two ducky patterns, and I LOVE the giraffe/safari pattern. And the florals and Christmas patterns are making me wish I had eight arms ... And an unlimited supply of funds!

I just wanted to let you know how beautiful and creative the patterns are.

Lynn

I am delighted to be among your mailing list. I am glad to learn more new patterns. I just think how you wake up pattern, sleep patterns and walk patterns. I really admire you.

I have been crocheting for about two years. I just wanted to let you know that I have never seen such beautiful crochet designs and patterns as I have on Maggie's website. I am absolutely in awe of her work. I have crocheted several of her patterns and they are so beautiful. I am planning on placing another order today. If you could, I would like for you to pass along to her that her work is inspiring and I hope to one day be half as good and creative as she is... I am a huge fan....

I have used and bought several of your patterns and the delight I have gotten decorating my apartment is unbelieveable. I look forward to seeing the different patterns you offer thru the holidays. Thank you so much....your patterns is all I look forward to.

Just viewed your pottery video and it is the most awesome thing I've seen. What beautiful work the technique produces. I'm so happy you thought of something like this. The work turns out just beautiful. I just don't know what to say. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

Maria

I just love your patterns. They are so neat and just beautiful. I made a 'Red Hat' lady for one of my friends for her birthday in August out of the 'Bottle Toppers' (2 liter) pattern (you have the Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc patterns). She loved it! She said that it was one of kind gift and it was from the heart.

I have a granddaughter named Maggie. She had open heart surgery at 22 months old, wear a pacemaker and is on medication for life. She is now 13 years old, a cheerleader, basketball player, volleyball player and on the track team. She has a zest for life. Doctors say she should have not lived past her 1st birthday. Beautiful child, very spirited, and can be a handful. But, who spoiled her??!?!!?!?
Thank you for the patterns.....keep them coming!

I just wanted you all to know that the pattern I purchased here, the Rosebud Baby Layette, was chosen as project of the week on Crochet Soiree. The pattern directions were easy to follow and the finished project was beautiful. I've had several requests from other people to make this for them.

THANK YOU!!!!
Let me just say that I have never had such good customer service EVER. You guys have a lot to be proud of. And if it was not enough, you are so giving and warm! I am really grateful.

And don't worry, I will give credit to her. I always do, and I always will. Believe me, I'm her number one promoter, because I'm SOOOOOO her number one fan!!! I have a post of my crocheted Daisy Blanket and it gives her full credit for her design, I give a public thumbs up to your wonderful customer service, and I added a link right back to her website. (See it at www.veroknitca.blogspot.com
). Whenever the crochet along takes place, I will take pictures and post them the same way. And everybody there will have access to all of Maggie's information.

Thank you very much!

Hi Maggie,
Just received the set of Susan Bates Crochet Needles and I want to thank you for your quick service and careful packaging. I have been searching for a long time for a set of Bates needles in a slim case and could never find anything comparable in the stores. And to get it on sale from your website was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. All 14 needles in one small flat case. Still looking for a similar case for larger aluminum needles. Thank you for your great patterns, e-mail alerts and your exceptional service.

Dear Maggie,
I was trying to find old patterns to match my Great Aunt's lace for our sons' and wives' Christmas presents. With your advice DMC came through and is forwarding some help. Thanks for your advice. Two sons and their wives'll be happy.

Marianne

Received my order today. Thanks for the fast service. Even with a computer crash you get the patterns out there to us pattern collectors. Think I’ll make pink dishcloths for the gals in my office for Christmas. Love your patterns, can’t wait to see what’s new.

Greetings!

Just wanted to share. I managed to finish the afghan in record time, in time to enter it in the Evergreen State Fair here in Monroe, WA. It's the first time I have entered anything in the fair. I not only received a first place, but also a Best in Class!

Thanks for the help and the great pattern!

Thank-you so very much for the hankies. They got here just fine. I got out some of my steel hooks and compared the numbers...cm...on them to the new Clover steel hooks. Boy howdy are they way off. I'm glad I got them. It's Clovers fault for misnumbering them. But I've read on other lists that people are realizing it. I love them but just need the real size 6 and 7 hooks.

I used the Darla Duck pattern to make a bride and groom for a towel wedding cake. And your tulip flower pattern to add flowers to the cake. The bride loved it so much. I also showed them to a neighbor and she wants me to make some for her grandbabies. I told her maybe next year. LOL. But I would have to do locking eyes in them. Or do felt and sew them on.
Thank-you again for offering such great patterns.

Laura

Dear Maggie,
The most memorable moments of my life were those shared with my grandmother who was brilliant at the art of crochet, knitting, and embroidery. It seems as though I am the only grand still not only loving the art of crochet but completely addicted to it. I so enjoy your newsletter and find myself saving each one and drooling over all of the beautiful pieces. Last year I made the gorgeous pink and white pants, top, hat and blanket with the lovely flowers for a client. The child has now outgrown the outfit, but her mother is begging me for something else. Thanks to you I have an endless supply of projects in waiting!
I am a child born in the 50's. I find such an enjoyment in crocheting. I am in the process of learning to knit. Thank you for being a blessing to your readers. I work for a non-profit and share your letters with our senior clients and other women in our programs. They look forward to starting new projects that we affectionately call a “Maggie Piece”.
May God continue to bless you!

Sincerely,
Barbara

Maggie,
I think you are the most generous person. Your website is the BEST I have visited and I have been to many! I want you to know that you are doing so much for so many people and you are greatly appreciated for all you do. THANK YOU for being here for us!!!

Ellen

Hello Maggie!
I absolutely love your patterns! Thank you for having such affordable prices, and the free patterns are such a blessing. I'm from Ohio and we've been having a horrible winter, so I've really appreciated the ability to have all my patterns to keep me from getting cabin fever.
I just noticed today that your business is located in Kernersville. We go to Holden Beach, NC for our vacations and for the past several years we've stayed in Kernersville to rest up for the last leg of our trip. There's a steak house right down the street from the motel. I can't remember the name of it right now, but their food is excellent!
Thanks again for all the good work you do!

Carole

Hi!
Just wanted you to know that I completed the sundress pattern (size 4) and thought it ended up SO cute! I thought it rather ironic that you live in Kernersville and the dress is going to my precious granddaughter who lives not too far away...in Lillington, NC!
I can't wait to put it on her and see how she looks! Right now she is really IN to dressing up and being girly. (We live in Ohio- our daughter and son-in-law are in the Army at Ft Bragg.)
Thanks again for the cute pattern!

Luwanna

I have crocheted for a long time and prefer it to knitting but my husband (he is 63) has just started and is enjoying it. Thanks for the newsletter.

I love love love your site. It's only crochet and that's what I love to do. I just received the pattern book of crochet cables, started an afghan as soon as I got it, and the afghans are all just gorgeous. I want to make every one of them. I highly recomend this book for crochet lovers. Thank you and keep up the good work and GOD BLESS.

I am so pleased with the service and the great instructions you have. Big Thanks!!!

My mother is 81 years old and still crochets. She is always looking for new patterns and old ones to make. I recently ordered a pattern book from you for her. It arrived quickly, but more than that what a pleasant surprise when she opened it and there was not only the book, but a free pattern. She had seen a picture of the doily in a local fabric store and had been searching for it everywhere! I'm not sure what she was happier with the book she ordered or the doily pattern she thought she'd never find.
Thank you for making her day! (and mine)

Mary

Hello!
I thought you should know that I think your Free crochet patterns are a delightful variety and your offerings are wonderfully generous!! I am surprised as I don't find many sites that offer as much as yours, well maybe one other but really I am delighted to have found your website and continue to look forward to visiting it often.
One thing more that is important to me...
Not many online places let you send personal checks or moneyorders and make it so simple as you have done. It is really appreciated that I am not compelled to order solely by credit card or paypal as so many other websites want you to do. I stopped using my credit card online 3 years ago because after doing a lot of book buying with Amazon I incurred a phising problem and that made me hesitant ever since.

Sincerely,
Sharon

Here in Ohio like many other places we are experiencing WINTER, and because time has caught up with me to the tune of 80 years I do not get out. I am a wuss I am sure but I have real fear of falling so I stay in my comfortable little home with my two cats and let the rest of the world go by.
Sometimes I do begin to feel a bit of bore coming in and about that time, along on the pc comes an email from yuo. This is the bright spot on my day and not always will my budget accept an order but when I wait a bit longer this problme seems to almost solve itself and in just a few days along comes a pattern from you for me to enjoy. Thanks so very much for being there and please continue your valuable service to all.

Rosalee

I just had to write and wish you and your entire staff a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New Year and to say thank you so much for offering the free patterns. I am a disabled grandma to 5 angels and I love making them and all my 5 adult children items made from my heart at Christmas so when I am no longer here, they still will have a part of me with each Christmas through the years. Without your free patterns, I would not have that opportunity to do the many things I crochet, I am disabled with degenitive disk disease and my husband is fighting prostate cancer with many painful days so we are on a very tight income of being paid once a month. I have so fallen in love with many of your crochet books and patterns and oh the amigurumi ones recently coming out is so unbelievable love the tiny patterns and your doll and baby patterns oh my gosh so maybe one day I will be able to order some and if I do I will be right back here...
Thank you from a grandma 1200 miles away from her family ath this time of year. Enjoy your family. Live each day to the fullest...

Barb

One of the reasons that I like to read your emails is to see the older patterns that are featured occasionally. Today is one of those days. The booklets featured remind me of my mother's interest in crochet, knitting and tatting. In fact, I have a doily made by her--one in each form. One of my projects is to mount these in shadowbox frames to preserve them for the family.
Thanks again for all the inspiration I get from your efforts. Have a very Merry Christmas and that the New Year will be filled with promise for you and all your associates.

Pat

I have always been very pleased with everything i have purchased from you and these last free patterns were so welcome and very nice. Thank you very much for the kindness.

Pat

Maggie Weldon,
Greetings... Your company really opened my eyes to the world of crochet as I made 2 of your English Garden afghans. I must say I wasn't recognized as a good crochet crafter until after I did your English Garden Afghans. I did one with a pink ribbon color and the other with yellow ribbon. I made them for Cancer Centers in Madison, Wisconsin. Enjoy your day, ya'll inspire me.

Thanks,
Bobby

Hi Maggie & Co.,
Thanks for your email, yes that will be fine, I have already received today orders 30830 & 31083 from my earlier orders & happily to say they both arrived in good order & complete, thank you for your time in letting me know, it is very much appreciated, this is why I so much enjoy ordering from you all, the service you provide is indeed one of the best that I deal with, I only wish everyone one would be so helpful & understanding.
Thanking you once again. Very best wishes to you all,

Maureen

Maggie,
Thank you so for making such a fun and easy pattern!! I just finished the frolicing frog patterns - added my own lil' touch and WAAAAA-LA!! (Click on thumbnails for larger pictures.) I LOVE how it came out!! I can't wait to get your catalog so I can pick out all of the other things I want for this years CHRISTMAS LIST
!!! Thank you again!!!

Jennifer

Dear Maggie,
I am just so glad that I found your site! I am an avid needle worker, knitting and crocheting and cross stitching and just about any yarn craft really I have done since I was a little girl. I lived in the country when I was a little girl and while other little girls were playing with their Barbie dolls, I was crocheting clothes and accessories for them. My grandmother taught me to crochet back then and I must have been about 7 or 8 years old.
I ordered steel crochet hooks from you and I was not only impressed with how fast you sent them, your shipping and handling price was so reasonable!
Thank you once again just for being there!

Sincerely,
Becky

A HUGE thank you to Maggie's Crochet & her staff! I can't say enough about your instant response to my plea of "Please Rush." You certainly did - I ordered a pattern on Thursday with those special instructions and received it in Indiana on Saturday!!! Consequently, the baby sweater is about half done already and I'll have my gift ready for the baby shower this week! :) I will forever be singing your praises to all my crochet friends.

I want you all to know that I appreciate that you NOTICED my plea and that you RESPONDED so rapidly in filling my order and shipping it to me.
That is definitely GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! :)
