FINISHING
Sew Front to Back along sides and shaped bottom. In 4 places along bottom (beginning and ending of shaping on both sides) push the corner formed by shaping into the bag and flatten to form a 2” wide tuck perpendicular to seam. Sew across this tuck about 1” from corner to create a wider more flat bottom to bag.
Sew 4 Hanging Tabs across the Front & 4 Hanging Tabs across the Back using photo as a guide.
Handles
Option 1 – I-cord (shown)
With MC and double point needles (dpn), make 2 - 60” Handles as follows: Cast on 3 sts, * slide sts to opposite end of dpn. Bring the yarn across the WS to the beginning of the row. Knit 3 sts, place needle in left hand; rep from * until i-cord is desired length. Bind off all sts.
Option 2 – Crochet Chain
With 3 strands of MC held together and larger hook, chain 2 - 60” Handles. Fasten off.
Thread handles through all 8 Hanging Tabs. Sew beg end of each Handle to opposite end (forming 2 long loops). Knot one Handle on each side of the bag.
Use holding both Handles on each side for short handles, or hold one Handle on each side for long handles.
