Directions are given for Medium, with Large, X-Large and 2X in Brackets.  For example, M (L, XL, 2X).

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn :

Main Color (MC) – 14oz, 728yds (396g, 666m)

Contrasting Colors (CC) - various scrap colors totaling about 25 ozs (700g)

Additional Materials:

Yarn Needle & Scissors

1" (25mm) Flat Round Button – 1

Needle and matching thread – for button

Crochet Hook: G-6 (4.00mm), [#7 (4.50 mm), H-8 (5.00mm), I-9 (5.50mm)] or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: For each complete 5-round granny square, the square measurement = 4½" (5", 5½, 6")
