Size: About 8½" square.

Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn:
White - 3 oz
Small amounts of Pink and Green
Yarn Needle.

Crochet Hook:
Size I-9 (5.50 mm)

Abbreviations:

ch chain rnd round
dc double crochet sc single crochet(s)
hdc half double crochet sl st(s) slip stitch(es)
lp(s) loop(s) sp(s) space(s)
rem remaining st(s) stitch(es)
rep repeat yo yarn over


Special Stitches:
Popcorn (pc): Work 4 dc in same st or sp indicated;
drop lp from hook, insert hook in top of first dc made,
pick up dropped lp and pull through lp on hook.
V-Stitch (v-st): (Dc, ch 1, dc) in same st or sp
indicated.
Picot: Ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook.

FRONT

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Pink, ch 4; join
with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc
now and throughout), 3 dc in ring, drop lp from hook,
insert hook in top of beg ch-3, pick up dropped lp and pull
through lp on hook (first popcorn made), ch 3, [pc in ring,
ch 3] 3 times; join with sl st to first pc. (4 popcorns)
Rnd 2: * Sl st in next ch-3 sp, [ch 1, sc, dc, 3 tr, dc, sc, sl
st] twice in same sp; rep from * around. (8 petals)
Rnd 3: Working behind petals, [ch 4, sl st in space
between next 2 petals] around. (8 ch-4 lps)
Rnd 4: * Sl st in next ch-4 sp, [ch 1, sc, dc, 5 tr, dc, sc] in
same sp; rep from * around. (8 petals)
Rnd 5: Working behind petals, [ch 5, sl st in space
between next 2 petals] around. (8 ch-5 lps)
Rnd 6: With right side facing, join Green with sl st to any
ch-5 lp, ch 3, (dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 3, [2 dc, ch 1] twice) in
same sp (corner), 2 dc in next ch-5 sp, ch 1, * (2 dc, ch 1,
2 dc, ch 3, [2 dc, ch 1] twice) in next ch-5 sp, 2 dc in next
ch-5 sp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with sl st to first dc.
(40 dc, 16 ch-1 sps and 4 ch-3 corner sps) Finish off and
weave in ends.
Rnd 7: With right side facing, join White with sl st to any
corner ch-3 sp, ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), (dc,
ch 3, v-st) in same sp, [v-st in next ch-1 sp] across to next
corner, * (v-st, ch 3, v-st) in corner ch-3 sp, [v-st in next
ch-1 sp] across to next corner; rep from * around; join as
before. (24 v-sts)
Rnd 8: Ch 4, turn, (counts as first dc and ch 1), dc in
same sp as joining, skip next v-st, * [v-st in sp between
next 2 v-sts] across to next corner, (v-st, ch 3, v-st) in
corner ch-3 sp; rep from * around, ending with [v-st in sp
between next 2 v-sts] across; join as before. (28 v-sts)
Rnd 9: Turn, sl st in ch-1 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2
dc in same sp, * (2dc, ch 2, 2dc) in corner ch-3 sp, [3 dc in
next v-st] across; rep from * around; join as before. (100
dc) Finish off and weave in ends.


BACK

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with White, ch 5,
join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 4 (counts as first
tr), 4 tr in ring, ch 2, [5 tr in ring, ch 2] 3 times; join with sl
st to first tr. (20 tr)
Rnds 2-6: Ch 3, [dc in next dc] around, working (2 dc, ch
2, 2 dc) in each corner ch-2 sp; join with sl st to first dc.
At the end of Rnd 6 there are 100 dc. Finish off and weave
in ends.

FINISHING - use photo as guide

Holding wrong sides of Front and Back together, with
Front face, working through both thicknesses, join White
with sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc),
picot, dc in same sp, ch 16, sl st in 15th ch from hook
(hanger made), ch 1, (dc, picot, dc) in same corner sp,
skip next 2 dc, (dc, picot, dc) in space between next 2 dcgroups,
[skip next 3 dc, (dc, picot, dc) in space between
next 2 dc-groups] 7 times, skip next 2 dc, * (dc, picot, dc,
ch 3, dc, picot, dc) in corner sp, skip next 2 dc, (dc, picot,
dc) in space between next 2 dc-groups, [skip next 3 dc,
(dc, picot, dc) in space between next 2 dc-groups] 7 times,
skip next 2 dc; rep from * around; join with sl st to first dc.
Finish off and weave in ends.
