Materials:Worsted Weight Yarn:
Pink - 21 oz
Navy - 25 oz

Crochet Hook:Size F-5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:Each Motif measures 4" square.

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

FIRST MOTIF
Rnd 1:(Right Side) Starting at center, with Pink, ch 5; join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 3, 15 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends. (16 dc)
Rnd 2:With right side facing, join Navy with sc to same st as joining, working in back loops only, 2 sc in next dc, (sc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join with sl st to first sc. (24 sc) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 3:With right side facing, join Pink with sc to back loop for first sc, working in back loops only, sc in next 2 sc, skip next sc, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next sc, skip next sc, (sc in next 3 sc, skip next sc, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next sc, skip next sc) around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 4:With right side facing, join Navy with sl st to first sc, ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 2 sc, ch 3, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sp, ch 3, (dc in next 3 sc, ch 3, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sp, ch 3) around; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 5:With right side facing, join Pink with sc to same st as joining, ch 3, skip next dc, sc in next dc, (ch 3, sc in next lp) 3 times, ch 3, (sc in next dc, ch 3, skip next dc, sc in next dc, (ch 3, sc in next lp) 3 times, ch 3) around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 6:With right side facing, join Navy with sl st to first lp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), (2 dc, ch 5, 3 dc) in same lp, ch 3, skip next lp, (sc in next lp, ch 3) twice, skip next lp, * (3 dc, ch 5, 3 dc) in next lp, ch 3, skip next lp, (sc in next lp, ch 3) twice, skip next lp; rep from * around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.

SECOND MOTIF
Rnds 1-5:Rep Rnds 1-5 of First Motif.
Rnd 6:With right side facing, join Navy with sl st to first lp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in same lp, ch 2, sl st in corresponding lp on First Motif, ch 2, 3 dc in same lp on Second Motif, ch 1, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 1, skip next lp on Second Motif, sc in next lp, ch 1, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 1, sc in next lp on Second Motif, ch 1, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 1, skip next lp on Second Motif, * (3 dc in next lp, ch 2, sl st in next lp on First Motif,, ch 2, 3 dc in same lp on Second Motif; complete round as for First Motif (no more joinings); join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.

Make 11 rows of 15 Motifs, joining adjacent sides as Second Motif was joined to First Motif (where 4 corners meet, join 3rd and 4th corners to joining of previous 2 corners).

EDGING
Rnd 1:With right side of complete Afghan facing, join Navy with sl st to any corner sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 6 dc in same sp, * dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next sp, (dc in next sc, 3 dc in next sp) twice; dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next sp, dc in next joining, 3 dc in next sp; rep from * around, working 7 dc in each corner sp; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 2:With right side facing, join Pink with sc to same st as joining, ch 2, skip 2 dc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next dc (center dc of 7-sc group), * ch 2, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc; rep from * around, working (sc, ch 3, sc in center dc of each corner; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 3:With right side facing, join Navy with sl st to first lp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same lp, 3 dc in each sp around, working 5 dc in each corner sp; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
