Size: Approx 4 ½" diameter
Materials:
Small amounts of Light and Worsted Weight yarns.
Model was made with Mary Maxim Starlette worsted weight yarn in "Aqua" and Mary Maxim Sugar Baby Stripes light weight yarn in "Blueberry Burst."
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: Rnd 1 = approx 2"

Special Stitches:
Long Single Crochet (lsc) - Insert hook in indicated st or row, pull up lp to height of working row, yo, pull through both lps on hook.
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Aqua, ch 5, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), dc in ring, ch 1, [2 dc in ring, ch 1] 5 times; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends. (12 dc and 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 2: With right side facing, join Blueberry Burst with sl st to any ch-1 sp, ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch-2), 2 dc in same sp, [ch 1, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch-1 sp] around, ending ch 1, dc in first ch-1 sp; join as before. (24 dc, 6 ch-2 sps and 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 3, 6 dc in same sp, ch 1, work lsc around next ch-1 sp working in between the next 2 dc below in Rnd 1, ch 1, [7 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, lsc around next ch-1 space, ch 1] around; join as before. (42 dc, 6 lsc and 12 ch-1 sps)
Finish off and weave in ends.
