Premier® Yarns Wool-Free Lace (86% acrylic, 6% PBT, 8% metallic; 3.5 oz/100gm, 448 yds/410 m)

  • #95-208 Limestone Glow – 2 balls

 

Hook: US Size H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Tapestry needle

SCARF

Motif (Make 43)

Ch 5, join with sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch-2 throughout), [3 dc in ring, ch 2] 5 times, 2 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc (3rd ch of beg ch-3) - 18 dc & 6 ch-2 sp.

Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 5, 2 dc in same sp, ch 2, [(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 2] around, ending with dc in first ch-2 sp; join with sl st to first dc (3rd ch of beg ch-3) - 24 dc & 12 ch-2 sps.

Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 6 (counts as first dc & ch-3), 3 dc in same sp, ch 3, skip next ch-2 sp, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, skip next ch-2 sp] around, ending with 2 dc in first ch-2 sp; ; join with sl st to first dc (3rd ch of beg ch-3) - 36 dc, 6 ch-3 sps & 6 ch-2 sp.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, [3 sc in next corner ch-2 sp, skip next dc, sc in each of next 2 dc, sc in next ch-3 sp, skip next dc, sc in each of next 2 dc] around; join with sl st to first sc. - 48 sc. Fasten off leaving 12" tail for sewing.

 

FINISHING

Sew 2 Strips of 14 Motifs and 1 Strip of 15 Motifs. Sew the three strips together with longest strip in center. Weave in ends. Block gently.
