Large & Small Easter Egg - Free Crochet Pattern

Easter Egg Small and Large Size

Use any yarn. Use one size smaller hook than the yarn label recommends. Open plastic egg. Make Beginning Circle as large as widest half of egg and then work single crochet stitches even.

Beginning Circle
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2^nd ch from hook. (6 sc) Do not join mark ends of rnds.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: [2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc] 6 times. (18 sc)

Rnd 4: [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc] 6 times. (24 sc)

Work even until egg is covered.

Hanging egg or finished off.
Finish off leaving long end. Thread long end onto yarn needle. Weave needle through stitches, gather and secure. Leave long end for hanging or finish off.

Drawstring
Work a chain that is about 5 inches long and finish off. Weave chain through
