SMALL CAN
Size: Covers 15 oz (Vegetable) CanMaterials:Worsted Weight Yarn:
Black (B) - 2 oz (56 g), 110 yd (100 m);
White (W) - 2 oz (56 g), 110 yd (100 m);
Small amount of Red (R) yarn
Yarn needle
15 oz (Vegetable) Can
Crochet Hook:Size G-6 (4.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

To Change Colors
Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

CAN COVER
Rnd 1:(Right Side) Starting at the center bottom, using B, ch 1 (center ch), ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 11 dc in center ch; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc)
DO NOT TURN EACH ROUND.
Rnd 2:Ch 3, 2 dc in each dc around; join. (24 dc)
Rnd 3:Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next dc, 2 sc in next dc, (sc in next 2 dc, 2 sc in next dc) around; join with sl st to back loop of first sc. (32 sc) DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Pattern Rounds
Rnd 4:Ch 3, working in back loops only, dc in next 3 dc, change color to W, with W, dc in next 4 dc, change to B, * with B, dc in next 4 dc, change to W, with W, dc in next 4 dc, change to B; rep from * around; with B, join. (4 Black Blocks, 4 White Blocks)
Rnd 5: With B, ch 3, working in both loops, dc in next 3 dc, change to W, with W, dc in next 4 dc, * change to B, with B, dc in next 4 dc, change to W, with W, dc in next 4 dc; rep from * around; with W, join.
Rnd 6:With W, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, change to B, with B, dc in next 4 dc, change to W, * with W, dc in next 4 dc, change to B, with B, dc in next 4 dc, change to W; rep from * around; with W, join.
Rnd 7:With W, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, change to B, with B, dc in next 4 dc, * change to W, with W, dc in next 4 dc, change to B, with B, dc in next 4 dc; with B, join.
Rnds 8-11:Rep Pattern Rounds 4-7 once more. Finish off both colors and weave in ends.
Drawstring
With R, ch 100. Finish off and weave in ends.
Finishing
- Slip cover over Vegetable Can.
- Weave drawstring through Rnd 11 and tie in bow at center front.
