Size: To fit average wine bottle – either 750 ml or 1.5 liter bottle.

Materials: Bulky Weight Yarn :
Premier® Yarns– Merry™ – used in model.
Red Globes or Citrus (Green) (MC) - 1¾oz, 87yds (50g, 70m)
Freeze (White) (CC) – small amount.
Additional Materials: Yarn Needle.
Crochet Hook: Deborah Norville size N-15 (10.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 8dc = 2".

GIFT BAG
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at bottom, with MC, ch5; join with slst to first ch to form ring; ch3 (counts as first dc, now and throughout), 11dc in ring; join with slst to first dc (3rd ch of ch-3). (12dc)
Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in same st as joining, [2dc in next dc] around; join as before. (24dc)
Rnd 3: Ch3, [dc in next dc] around; join as before. (24dc)
Repeat Rnd 3 until desired length is reached. (Model is 24 rows long). Finish off and weave in ends.
TIE
Using double strand CC, ch60. Finish off and weave in ends.
Insert bottle into Cover. Wrap Tie around neck of bottle and tie in bow.
