Size: About 45" wide and 12" long.

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn :
Premier® Yarns – City Life® – used in model.
Grenadine Glitz – 1.75oz, 140yd (50g, 128m)
For fuller fringe, additional yarn may be needed.

Yarn Needle.

Crochet Hook: Deborah Norville size N-15 (10.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

 

Gauge: 4 dc rows = 5” and 5 patt sts (dc, ch1) = 5½”

Abbreviations
beg = beginning
CC = contrasting color
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
lp(s) = loop(s)
MC = main color
rem = remaining
rep = repeat
rnd = round
sc = single crochet(s)
sp(s) = space(s)
slst(s) = slip stitch(es)
st(s) = stitch(es)
tr = treble crochet
yo = yarn over

 

SCARF

Row 1: (Right Side) Starting at bottom, ch6, (dc, ch1, tr) in 6th ch from hook (skipped ch count as first tr and ch-1). (3sts & 2 ch-1sps)

Row 2: Ch5 (counts as first tr and ch-1, now and throughout), turn, dc in first tr, ch1, dc in next ch-1sp, ch1, dc in next dc, ch1, dc in next ch-1sp, ch1, (dc, ch1, tr) in last tr (4th ch of ch-5). (7sts & 6 ch-1sps)

Rows 3-12: Ch5, turn, dc in first tr, ch1, [dc in next ch-1sp, ch1] across to last tr, (dc, ch1, tr) in last tr. At end of Row 12, finish off and weave in ends.  

 

FRINGE
Cut a piece of cardboard 4" wide x 6" long. Wind yarn loosely around the cardboard lengthwise until full. Cut across one end; repeat as needed. Hold together 3 strands and fold in half. Working down sides of Scarf over tr-sts, with wrong side of Scarf facing and using a crochet hook, draw the folded end up through a stitch (Fig 1) and pull the loose ends through the folded end (Fig 2); draw the knot up tightly. Lay flat on hard surface and trim ends.
