Baby Owl Layette Crochet Pattern

Sizes: To fit 3 month-old (Small) or 6 month-old (Medium) infants.

Pattern is written for Small with Medium in parentheses.

Finished sizes:

Sweater – 18½" (20½") chest;

Hat – 14½" (16") circumference;

Booties – 4" (4½") length of sole.

Materials: Size 3 Crochet Cotton Thread:

White (color #601)– 840yd (960yd), 350g (400g);

Variegated Yellows (color #170) - 120yd, 50g.

Variegated Pinks (color #176) - 120yd, 50g.

Variegated Blues (color #158) - 120yd, 50g.

Multicolor (color #161) - 120yd, 50g.

Black (color #604) – small amount (for Eyes)

Orange (color #696) – small amount (for Beaks)

(Lizbeth® Size 3 Crochet Cotton used in model.)

Additional Materials: Thread Needle.

Crochet Hook:Size C-2 (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: In pattern (hdc, post-dc): 12sts = 2"; 8 rows = 2"
