STRIPED CRAYON CAN (FP195)

Size: Covers 39 oz Coffee Cans

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn:White (W) - 2 oz (56 g), 110 yd (100 m); Small amounts of Red (R), Orange (O), Yellow (Y), Green (G), Blue (B) and Purple (P).
Yarn needle
39 oz Coffee Can

Crochet Hook: Size G (4.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

To Change Colors
Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

DIRECTIONS
Rnd 1:
(Right Side) Starting at the center bottom, using W, ch 1 (center ch), ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 11 dc in center ch; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc)

DO NOT TURN EACH ROUND.

Rnd 2:Ch 3, 2 dc in each dc around; join. (24 dc)
Rnd 3:Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join. (36 dc)
Rnd 4:Ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join. (48 dc)
Rnd 5:Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join. (60 dc)
Rnd 6:  Ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join. (72 dc)
Rnd 7:Ch 3, working in back loops only, dc in each dc around; drop W to wrong side, change to R; join.
Rnd 8:With R, ch 3, working in both loops, dc in each dc around; pick up W; join. Finish off R and weave in ends.
Rnd 9:With W, ch 3, dc in each dc around; drop W to wrong side, change to O; join.
Rnds 10-19:Rep Rnds 8-9 using O, Y, G, B and P in this order between White rounds.

At the end of Rnd 19, do not change colors.

Rnd 20:With W, ch 3, dc in each dc around. Finish off and weave in ends.

Drawstring
With R, ch 150. Finish off and weave in ends.

Finishing
- Slip cover over Coffee Can.
- Weave drawstring through Rnd 20 and tie in bow at center front.
