The pattern calls for using a size D hook and fingering weight yarn for an infant size hat of 0 to 6 months. Increasing the hook size and yarn thickness makes the hat larger, up to size 24 months. Crochet hats are quick and fun to make for everyone in the family. Pull out your yarn and crochet hook to make some sweet hat designs for the little one in your life. These adorable little hats also make excellent gifts for an expecting mom. She will thank you for the soft and cute hats that will keep her newborn warm.
