Scrap Fan Afghan and Pillow Crochet Pattern

The Scrap Fan Afghan and Pillow Crochet Pattern is the perfect choice for using up all those scraps that seem to accumulate over the years. You will have fun pulling together the color combinations for these pretty fan designs, whether you want to make the pillow, afghan or both projects. One of the best features of this project is that you don't have a large shopping list of yarn. Both the afghan and pillow are perfect for all the extra scraps of yarn you have around the house that you thought you'd never be able to use. Not only will you be able to clean up all the yarn clutter in your craft area, but you'll also be able to wrap yourself in luxury once this crochet pattern is complete.

The fan crochet pattern is similar to the Dresden Plate quilt block that dates back to the early 20th century. This fun crochet pattern uses basic crochet stitches to create the fan design in each block. The Scrap Fan Afghan and Pillow Pattern is an easy crochet level, so even a beginner crochet level can make this luxurious throw or pillow. It is possible for each fan to have a different color combination if you have a large amount of yarn scraps. If you have more scraps than it takes to make the afghan, consider making another afghan as a gift. You will find that a scrap crochet pattern project gives a sense of accomplishment once you see how economical and fun they are to make

I love this pattern and I know you will love this pattern also.... and it's a pattern that I will use many times. I made it with all my scrap yarn and I can't believe how beautiful it came out. It's comes out like a beautiful quilt. A work of art. I am giving my first one as a gift... but will be making one for me now also. I would highly recommend this pattern and this company.

I love this afghan. I had the pattern and made one years ago for my in-laws. I made it larger so it fit on their queen size bed. It is one afghan that they enjoy year after year. I have been searching for the pattern as I have misplaced mine. So happy to have found it on your site.

This is such a beautiful project, my friends have all 'oohed and ahhed' over it. I did not have any problems following the directions. I plan to make the afghan large enough to cover my queen size bed, so I am only half way there at the present time. I chose Patons Astra yarn so it would not be so heavy and be easily washed, plus Patons has so many beautiful colors to choose from. Of course, that size yarn makes a smaller square. The pattern reminds me of the quilts my grandmothers made when I was a child and I'm sure this will become a family heirloom. Anyone who makes this pattern will surely be 100% happy with the results.
