Materials: Size 10 Crochet Cotton ("Puritan"): White.
Crochet Hook: Steel No. 8 (1.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: Each motif measures about 2¾ inches.

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
Special Stitches
Treble Cluster (tr-cl):Keeping last loop of each st on hook, work 3 tr in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through all loops on hook.
Picot Loop Cluster (pl-cl):(Sc, ch 7, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 7, sc) in same st or sp indicated.
FIRST MOTIF
Rnd 1:Ch 11, join to first ch to form ring, ch 1, * (sc, dc, 5 tr, dc sc) in ring (petal), ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, (pistil); rep from * 3 times. DO NOT JOIN. MARK BEG OF EACH ROUND.
Rnd 2:* Sc in next 9 sts (of petal), sc into ring, ch 5, sc in top of next pistil, ch 5, sc in ring; rep from * 3 times.
Rnd 3:* Ch 5, sc in center sc of next petal, ch 5,sc in sc between petal and pistil, ch 5, tr-cl st in nextch-5 lp, ch 1, tr-cl in next ch-5 lp on opposite side of same pistil, ch 5, sc in next sc between pistil and next petal; rep from * 3 times.
Rnd 4:* Ch 5, tr-cl in next lp, ch 3, tr-cl in next lp, ch 5, sc in next sc, ch 5, tr-cl in next lp, ch 3, skip ch-1 lp, tr-cl in next ch-5 lp, ch 5, sc in next sc; rep from * 3 times.
Rnd 5:** Ch 7, skip next lp, pl-cl in next lp between 2 tr-cl sts, ch 7, sc in next sc, ch 7, skip next lp, sc in next lp between next 2 tr-cl sts, * ch 5, sI st in 4th ch from hook for picot; rep from *3 times, ch 1, sc in same lp, ch 7, sc in next sc; rep from ** around. Finish off and weave in ends.
