Gingerbread Tree Skirt Crochet Pattern

Create your own crochet Christmas tree skirt for a handmade accessory under the tree. The festive crochet Gingerbread Tree Skirt Crochet Patterndesigned by Donna Collinsworth, features an adorable scene with gingerbread boys, girls and houses set on alternating wedges of red and green. A crocheted wide lace border accents the outside edge of the skirt to give an impression of icing. This tree skirt is full of sweetness with completely decorated gingerbread just waiting to be covered with presents. A slit along one wedge and circle cut out of the center of the circle makes is easy to fit the tree skirt under the tree and in place for the holiday season. Crocheted Christmas items are easy to fold and pack away after the holidays, with no worries about damaging the pretty applique embellishments. The crocheted skirt will look beautiful each year you pull it out for display.

Gingerbread Tree Skirt CrochetPatternuses a worsted weight yarn and a small about of thread to make the skirt and gingerbread decorations. The finished dimensions of the circular skirt are 48 inches diameter with the gingerbread applique pieces being about: about 10 inches tall. This easy crochet pattern is the perfect Christmas crochet project for all skill levels. This is my favorite pattern so far. It is detailed and fun to make. I also found it easy to crochet. I cannot wait to put it under my tree. I have gotten many compliments from the people who had seen me working on it.
