I saw these crosses being sold on ebay and went searching for the pattern because I thought they were so pretty. Pattern is very easy to follow and I plan to make a lot more of these to give to friends. Great Job! THX!

Easy to make and easy to decorate. Does not consume a huge amount of thread. I make these every Christmas holiday for my MIL so she can give out to her church.

I just loved this pattern. I made doilies for our communion set at my church. I used one of Maggie's free doily pattern, but I did modify it a little, with an edging in gold metalic thread. I put the cross on the larger doily for the bread plate. I made the cross in gold thread to match the set. The doily for the cup is also one of your patterns, again modified with gold edging and crystal beads so it won't fall into the cup. It is a beautiful addition to our alter. I wish I could send you a picture of the two doilies to see how pretty they turned out. Thank you for all the patterns. I have a lot of your patterns. Patti Bell

First, to answer Ruth's question in her review - TR is TRIPLE crochet, YO twice, insert hook into stitch or sp required, YO, pull up a new loop through st, then YO and pull through to take 2 stitches off, repeat 2 more times in the same stitch, until you're back to just 1 loop on hook. In other words, it's like a DC, only taller with one more extra step of the stitch. Hope that helps, Ruth!I LOVE this pattern and the cross it makes! The pattern is easy to memorize so you can make several of them to give as gifts or use to put on gift packages, etc.
