Cowl Wrap and Cloche Crochet Pattern

This beautiful matching set will keep you warm this winter! The wrap's edges can be sewn together to form a cape or poncho, or left open like a shawl or cape. The snug-fitting cloche is uniquely feminine with its face-framing shell edge. The set is made with a U.S. size J hook and worsted-weight yarn. Includes sizes child to 3XL.

Cloche:

Sizes: Small: 7 ¼ inches deep by 19 inches, Medium: 8 inches deep by 21 inches, Large: 9 inches deep by 24 inches circumference

Materials: yarn needle, 1.8 (Sm) 50 gm; and 2.0 (Med) ounces, 60 gm, ivory, color 01 of Olympic from NY Yarns, 70% acrylic, 30% wool. Other yarns with similar acrylic-wool mix: Wool-Ease worsted weight (Fisherman), Berroco Vintage (Snow Day), or Plymouth Yarn Encore worsted (in Champagne, Ecru or Ivory).

(Lg) 3.5 oz, 105 gm. Cotton Ease

Crochet Hook: US size J/10, 5.5 mm hook. (Sm, Med). Size I/9, 5 mm hook (Lg)

Gauge: (pattern repeat = 4 fpdc+ shell) Sm and Med: 2 pattern repeats = 4.88 inches, 10 Rows = 4 inches. Large: 2 pattern repeats = 4.5 inches. 11 Rows = 4 inches.

Cowl:

Size: 15 inches long, 21 inches along neck edge, 65 inches along bottom edge, though can be changed using notes in the pattern.

Materials: 11.9 oz ivory, color 01 of Olympic from NY Yarns, 7 50-gr balls, 820 yards, 70% acrylic, 30% wool; yarn needle. Other yarns with similar acrylic-wool mix: Wool-Ease worsted weight (Fisherman), Berroco Vintage (Snow Day), 

or Plymouth Yarn Encore worsted (in Champagne, Ecru or Ivory).

Crochet Hook: US size H/8, 5.0 mm hook.

Gauge: 11 Rows = 4 inches, 12 sts = 4 inches.
