Angel Afghan Crochet Pattern

Angels aren't just for Christmas; they bring comfort and serenity all year round. The Angel Afghan Pattern is a gorgeous afghan that has a design and color combination perfect for any occasion. The peaceful angels have a light and airy ambiance that will make you want to wrap up in. A simple change of the main crochet afghan color turns it from a wonderful holiday afghan that also works well with spring decor. Each angel crochet block is made separately, and then stitched together to complete the pretty angel afghan. The angel design includes a halo overhead, bow around the neck and stars around the head. The pretty purple background color gives this afghan a warm feeling, but you can choose any background color that fits your home decor and personal preference.

Angel Afghan Pattern is an original design by Maggie Weldon. The color changes and delicate connective stitches make this pattern an intermediate skill level. Use a worsted weight yarn to obtain the correct gauge for a finished size of about 41 inches wide by 63 inches long. This is comfortable for a lap quilt or chair throw. Adjust the size larger by making additional blocks. You can also make a pillow using one of the angel blocks as the front. The Angel Afghan Pattern is versatile by letting you choose the color combination or change the size. You will have fun completing this crochet afghan, and it will make a nice addition to any room in your home.
