Stitch Repeat - Seed Stitch
Skill level - Easy
This stitch repeat can be worked with any size yarn. Use the hook size recommend for whatever yarn you choose.
Abbreviations
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sk – skip
st - stitch
STITCH PATTERN
Chain any odd number of stitches.
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. (Ch 1. Sk next st, sc in the next st.) Repeat across. Sc in the last st.
Row 2: Sc in 1st sc. (Ch 1. Sk next sc, sc in the next sc.) Repeat across. Sc in the last sc.
Repeat Row 2 until you reach desired size. A stripe effect can be achieved by switching colors every two rows.
