Stitch Repeat: Cross-Stitch
Skill: Easy
This stitch can be worked with any size yarn. Use the appropriate size hook for your project. In the video, we used worsted weight yarn and a size I-9 hook.
Abbreviations
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
Ch any even number of stitches.
Row 1: (Right Side) Dc in 5th ch from hook, working over dc just worked, dc in 4th ch, (skip next ch, dc in next ch, dc in skipped ch) across, dc in last ch.
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn, dc in first dc, (skip next dc, dc in next dc, dc in skipped dc) across, dc in last dc.
Repeat row 2 until project reaches desired length. Finish off and weave in ends.
