ROUND CENTER FLOWER
Easy Skill
Size: About 5" circumference.
Materials: Premier® Yarns - Deborah Norville Collection – Everyday® Soft Worsted Weight – used in model.
Worsted Weight Yarn :
For each Flower:
Baby Pink – 25yds
Valentine – 8yds

beg - beginning
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet

slst(s) - slip stitch(es)

Additional Materials: Yarn Needle.
Crochet Hooks: Size I-9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: With I-hook – 6sc = 2".
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
FLOWER
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Baby Pink, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with slst to first sc. (6sc) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 2: With right side facing, join Valentine with slst to any sc, ch3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), [3dc in next sc] around, ending with 2dc in first sc; join with slst to first dc (3rd ch of ch-3). (18dc)
Rnd 3: Slst in sp between next 2 dc, ch1, sc in same sp, ch4, skip next 3 dc, [sc in sp before next dc, ch4, skip next 3 dc] around; join with slst to first sc. (6sc & 6ch-4lps) Finish off and weave in ends.
PETALS
Rnd 4: With right side facing, join Baby Pink with slst to any sc, [(sc, hdc, dc, 3tr, dc, hdc, sc) in next ch-4lp, slst in next sc] around. (6 petals)
Rnd 5: [Ch3, slst in next st] around. Finish off and weave in ends.
