Finishing
With right sides facing and using long ends from Row 80 sew short end of sides together.

Edging
With right side of granny square facing and working along sides of rows, join MC with a sl st in marked corner of either granny square, work 2 sc in each row across to opposite granny square, sl sl in granny square corner. Finish off and weave in ends.

Rep for opposite side.

Fringe

Cut a piece of cardboard 3" wide x 8" long. Wind yarn loosely around the cardboard 44 times. Cut across one end.

Hold together 2 stands; fold in half. Working in corners and dc sts of Rnd 5, with wrong side of square facing and using a crochet hook, draw the folded end up through a corner and pull the loose ends and yarn tails through the folded end; draw the knot up tightly. Repeat for fringes in every other dc of Rnd 5. End with one fringe in opposite corner.

Lay flat on hard surface and trim ends.
