Mini Rose - Free Crochet Pattern

Mini Rose

Size: Varies depending upon yarn and hook size
Materials: This pattern can be worked in any thread or yarn. Thread or fine yarn will produce smaller flowers; thicker yarns will produce larger flowers. Yardage will vary depending on the material used.

You will need two colors: the petal color and the leaf color – we used pink and green.

Crochet Hook: Hook size will vary depending on the yarn chosen for the project.

In the video, we used worsted weight cotton yarn and a size H-8 hook.

Abbreviations

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

Rose

Rnd 1: With Pink, ch7, (4sc, slst) in 2nd ch from hook, [(4sc, slst) in next ch] across. Join with a sl st. Finish off leaving a long end.

Leaves

Rnd 1: With Green, ch1 (center chain), [ch10, slst in center chain] 5 times. Finish off and weave in ends.

Using long end and yarn needle, sew Rose to center of Leaves.
