Size: Varies depending upon yarn and hook size

Materials: This pattern can be worked in any thread or yarn. Thread or fine yarn will produce smaller flowers; thicker yarns will produce larger flowers. Yardage will vary depending on the material used.

We used Yellow for the Center and White for the petals

Crochet Hook: Hook size will vary depending on the yarn chosen for the project.

In the video, we used sport weight number 3 yarn and a size D – 3 mm hook.

Abbreviations

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

rnd - round

st - stitch

sl st - slip stitch

Rnd 1 (Right Side): With Yellow ch 2, work 7 hdc in 2^nd chain from hook; join with sl st to first hdc. Finish off (leave long end for sewing if desired).

Rnd 2: Right side facing, join White with sl st to any hdc, * ch 6, sl st in 2^nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, hdc in next 2 ch * sl st in same st, rep * to * sl st in next st, rep from first * around until there are 14 petals. Finish off and weave in ends.
