 Flip Flops - Green

Easy Skill

Size:  To fit standard size Women's Flip Flops.

 

Materials: Premier® Parfait™ used in model.

For each pair:

Bulky Weight Yarn :

Ribbon Candy – 1oz, 55yds (29g, 50m)

Quince – 11yds (10m)

 

 

Abbreviations

beg - beginning

ch - chain

dc - double crochet

hdc - half double crochet

lp(s) - loop(s)

rem - remaining

rep - repeat

rnd - round

sc - single crochet(s)

sp(s) - space(s)

slst(s) - slip stitch(es)

st(s) - stitch(es)

yo - yarn over

 

Additional Materials: Yarn Needle.

Pair of Flip Flops.

Two buttons (for center of Flower)

Thread and Thread Needle (for Flower Buttons)

 

Crochet Hook: Size K-10.5 (6.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: Not important.

 

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

 

FLOWER

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Quince, ch2, 5sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with slst to first sc. (5sc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, [(sc, 4dc, sc, slst) in next sc] around. Finish off and weave in ends.

 

FLIP FLOP STRAP COVER

Row 1: (Right Side) Working over Flip Flop Straps, starting at heel side, join Ribbon Candy with slst over Strap, ch1, work 32 hdc over same Strap, skip toe piece, work 32 hdc over other Strap, slst over same Strap. Finish off and weave in ends.

 

Using needle and thread, sew Button through center of Flower and sew Flower to Strap Cover above toe piece.
