Easy Morning Glory

Skill Level: Easy

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn in Blue and White. Size H-8 hook. Yellow chenille stem.

Size: Approximately 3 inches across, 1 inch deep.

ABBREVIATIONS

ch - chain

sl st - slip stitch

hdc - half double crochet

FLOWER

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, using White, ch 3, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 1, 6 hdc in ring; join with sl st to first hdc. (6 hdc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each hdc around; join.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, turn, (2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next hdc) around; change color to Light Blue; join. (9 hdc) Finish off White.

Rnds 4-5: With Light Blue, 2 hdc in each hdc around; join. (18, 36 hdc) At the end of Rnd 5, finish off and weave in ends.

Assembly - Use photo as guide - Cut the Chenille Stem into eight 1” pieces. Fold in half and twist. Glue each piece into the center of a Flower.
