Easy Beginner Baby Hat

Easy skill level.

Size: to fit a 3-6 month baby

Materials: Bulky Weight Yarn, 3 oz/150 yds

Yarn needle

Crochet Hook: Size J-10 (6.00 mm)

Abbreviations

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

HAT

Row 1: (Right side) Ch 19, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [sc in next ch] across. (18 sc)

Rows 2-32: Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across (18 sc).

At the end of Row 32, finish off leaving an 18" long end.

- Using long end and yarn needle, with wrong side facing, sew last row to first row to form a tube. DO NOT CUT YARN.

- Turn tube inside out, with right side facing, work a running stitch along side of row at one edge of tube. Pull yarn snugly to gather. Finish off and weave in ends.

- Turn up bottom edge of hat.
