Flip Flops - Aqua

Size:

To fit standard size Women's Flip Flops.

 

Materials: Red Heart Boutique Sashay Mini used in model.

For each pair:

Super Bulky Weight Yarn :

Sorbet – 1.5oz, 18yds

Abbreviations

ch - chain

lp(s) - loop(s)

rem - remaining

rep - repeat

sc - single crochet(s)

sp(s) - space(s)

slst(s) - slip stitch(es)

st(s) - stitch(es)

yo - yarn over

Additional Materials: Yarn Needle.

Pair of Flip Flops

 Crochet Hook:

For Strap Cover: Size P-15 (10.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

For Flower: Latch hook or Size J-10 (6.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: Not important.

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

FLOWER

Do not unfold yarn. Working into the middle of the strand, insert your hook from front to back in every third loop 30 times. Pick up one more loop, then pull it through all other loops on your hook. Finish off by cutting your yarn and pulling the end through the loop on your hook. Tighten and trim to the approximate size of your flower.

 FLIP FLOP STRAP COVER

Row 1: (Right Side) Working over Flip Flop Straps, starting at heel side, join with slst over Strap, ch1, work 11 sc over same Strap, skip toe piece, work 11 sc over other Strap, slst over same Strap. Finish off and weave in ends.

Attach Flower to Strap Cover above toe piece.
