Ingredients:
3/4 c. Hershey's Cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. boiling water
1-1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. unsifted unbleached all-purpose flour
1/3 c. wheat flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Powered sugar (optional)
Directions:
Stir cocoa and soda in bowl. Blend 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
Add boiling water. Stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar,
eggs and remaining vegetable oil. Stir until smooth. Add flour,
vanilla and salt; blend completely.
Pour in lightly greased 13x9 pan or 2 (8
inch) square pans. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes for the
13x9 pan or 30-32 minutes for 8 inch square pans. Cool. Dust
with top with powdered sugar if desired.
