Materials:

Posey Pig: Worsted weight cotton yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) pink; 3 yds lt pink; 2 yds green; 1 yd each white and black

Orange Slice: Worsted weight cotton yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) orange; 1 oz (70 yds) white.

Watermelon Slice: Worsted weight cotton yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) each dk green and red; 2 yds each white, lt green, and black.

Apple: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) Red (R); 5 yds Green (G); 3 yds Brown (B)

Rooster: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) Red (R), 1 oz (70 yds) Brown (B), small amounts of Gold (Y), Green (G), Black (BK) & White (W).

Diamond Filet: Worsted weight cotton yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) each pink and white.

Star Lily: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn, 2.5 oz (175 yds) Blue (B), 1 oz (70 yds) White (W).

Crochet Hook:  Size G or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 4 dc = 1"

Sizes: Posey Pig:About 9"x 7 ½"; Orange Slice:About 7 ½" diameter; Watermelon Slice:About 7" diameter;

Rooster:7"x 10"; Apple:7" x 7 ½"; Star Lily:  About 7" x 7" Diamond Filet:7 ½" x 7 ½";

You will find any one of these seven potholders easy to make with Worsted Weight Yarn. They are made with cotton yarn and double thickness so they are both usable and decorative.

Granny square potholders give them the vintage crochet decor!!!
