Cherry Soap Dispenser Cover

Easy Skill 
Size: 3 ¾" wide x 7 ½" tall
 
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn;
White (MC) - 1 oz, 48 yd (28 g, 43 m);
Small amounts of Green (G) and Red (R);
Yarn Needle.
 
Crochet Hook:Size G-6 (4.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
 

Gauge: Rnd 1 = 1" wide x 3" long.

Abbreviations
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
lp - loop
MC - main color
rem - remaining
rep - repeat
rnd - round
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
sp - space
st - stitch
yo - yarn over
 
 

Cherry Soap Dispenser

Rnd 1:  With MC, ch 11, 5 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped 3 chs count as first dc), dc in next 6 ch, 6 dc in last ch; working around other side in unused lps of starting chain, dc in next 6 ch, join with sl st to first dc. (24 dc)

Rnd 2:Working in back lps only, sc in same st as joining, dc in next st, (sc in next st, dc in next st) around; join with sl st to first sc. (24 sts)

 

Pattern Rnds

Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), working in both lps, sc in next dc, (dc in next sc, sc in next dc) around; join with sl st to first dc.

Rnd 4:Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, dc in next sc, (sc in next dc, dc in next sc) around; join with sl st to first sc.

Rnds 5-16:Rep Pattern Rnds 3-4.

Rnd 17 (Eyelet Rnd):Sc in same st as joining, ch 1, skip next st, (sc in next st, ch 1, skip next st) around; join with sl st to first sc. 

Rnd 18:Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp, *ch 3, sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp, rep from * around, end; ch 1, join with hdc in first sc to form last lp. (21 ch-3 lps)

Rnd 19:Ch 1, sc in lp formed by joining, ch 3, (sc in next lp, ch 3) around; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

Finishing

Tie:With G, ch 70, finish off. Weave Tie through Eyelet Rnd of Cover. Tie ends into bow.

 

Cherries(Make 2)

With R, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 2, (12 dc, hdc, sl st) in ring; join with sl st in top of beg ch-2. Finish off leaving long end. Weave in short ends. Using long end sew Cherries to ends of Tie.
