Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn;
21 ozs (1188 yds) Green (MC); 18 ozs (990 yds) White (A);
3 ozs (170 yds) Pink (B); and 7 ozs (396 yds) Red (C)
Crochet hook: Size I, or size required for gauge
40 - Oval Moveable Eyes 15 x 20 mm
20 - Red Heart Pony Bead
20 - 22mm Brass Bells
Yarn Needle and Hot or Craft Glue
Coats & Clark "Classic" was for this afghan.

Gauge:Rnds 1-2 = 2-1/2"
Each Square = 11" across

Christmas Santa Afghan Crochet Pattern

I never thought I would do another crocheted holiday afghan crochet pattern but I couldn't help myself! I guess I have a thing for the holiday crochet!

On the long ride home from elementary school we passed a house with an enormous picture window. This wasn't just any window. It was decorated with hearts for Valentine's Day, shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, bunnies and baskets for Easter, flags and stars for the Fourth, pumpkins for Halloween, turkeys for Thanksgivings and Santa for Christmas.  Between these holidays they would decorate for the seasons. Every day I looked forward to seeing what was in that window, especially when the holidays changed!

I hope this afghan crochet pattern will brighten up your days the way that window did so many of mine.
