Sport  or Worsted Weight Yarn:

Red Riding Hood:

            Red (R) - 1 ½ oz, 99 yds;

            Pink (P) - ½ oz, 33 yds;

            Dark Brown (DB) - ¼ oz, 17 yds;

¼” Pink Pom-Pom for Nose;

15 mm Movable Eyes - 2;

Granny:

            Yellow (Y) - 1 ½ oz, 99yds;

            Pink (P); ¼ oz - ½ oz, 33 yds,

            White (W) - 17 yds;

            small amount Blue (B);

            small amount Red (R) for Mouth;

¼” Pink Pom-Pom for Nose;

15 mm Movable Eyes - 2;

Wolf:

            Light Brown (LB) - 2 ½ oz, 165 yds;

            Dark Brown (DB) - ¼ oz, 17 yds;

            small amount Black (BL);

12 mm Animal Eyes - 2;

Basket:

            Small amount of Light Brown (LB).

Crochet Hook:  Size G-6 (4 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: With Sport Weight Yarn and G hook:

            4 dc = 1”; 2 Rows dc = 1”

Summary of Tale:
Little Red Riding Hood walks through the woods to deliver food to her sick grandmother. She and her Grandmother have bad encounters with the Big Bad Wolf and are rescued by a hunter.

The story became famous after appearing in the Grimm Fairy Tales collections that the brothers Grimm collected from around Germany between 1807 and 1814.
