Materials:Yarn needle; Worsted Weight Yarn:

Blanket:

            Blue (B) - 10 oz;

            Light Blue (LB) - 16 oz;

            White (W) - 5 oz;

            Yellow (Y) - 5 oz;

            small amount of Orange (O) for beaks;

            small amount of Black (BL) for eyes;

Toy:

            Yellow (Y) - 2 oz;

            small amounts of White (W), Blue (B), Black (BL) and Orange (O);

            Fiberfill;

Pillow:

            Yellow (Y) - 4 oz;

            small amounts of White (W), Blue (B),

                        Black (BL) and Orange (O);

Fiberfill;

Red Heart Super Saver used in models.

Crochet Hook:  Size G-6 (4mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:

           Blanket: 13 sts = 4”; 10 Rows = 4”

           Toy & Pillow: 14 sc = 4”; 15 Rows sc = 4”

Sizes:

            Blanket: about 44½” x 40”;

            Toy: about 7” x 5 ½”;

            Pillow: about 14” x 10 ½”

Two shades of blue and white worsted weight yarn are combined to create the illusion of waves by alternating sc, hdc and dc stitches.
