Babette Circle Shawl

Add a light and lacy shawl to any outfit for a touch of warmth and a lot of style. Babette is made in a large circle, with most of the rounds made with a set of easily memorized repeats. It’s a joy to make, and you can go as large as you like with the circle!

Wear Babette as shown on cover, or doubled as a feminine, lacy traditional shawl. Babette also works as a wonderful hip scarf over a bathing suit.

Skill:  Intermediate

Size:  Can be made to fit any size.

Materials:  May be made with any yarn and appropriate hook size.
Garment shown was made with about 700 yds.
#0005 Ocean Spray (about 2  1/2 skeins),
Caron Spa (weight category 3) bamboo/acrylic blend,
Size I hook.

Garment will look best made with a drapey yarn such as a bamboo or silk blend with one or two hook sizes larger than recommended on yarn label.  100% acrylic is not recommended for this garment.
