Lion Brand^® Magic Stripes was used for our model.

Crochet Hook:  Size E-4 (3.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 11 sc & 12 rnds = 2”

Directions

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2^nd ch from hook. (6 sc) DO NOT JOIN, MARK ENDS OF RNDS.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)

Rnd 3: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around. (18 sc)

Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around. (24 sc)

Rnd 5: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) around. (30 sc)

Rnd 6: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) around. (36 sc)

Rnds 7-28: Place 6 small safety pins or stitch markers evenly spaced around circle, sc in each sc around, working 2 sc at each marker; move markers out further every few rnds.

At the end of Rnd 28, sl st in next sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

Fringe

Cut a piece of cardboard 1" wide x 3" long. Wind Yarn loosely around the cardboard lengthwise until full. Cut across one end. Repeat as needed. Hold 1 strand; fold in half. Working along edges of Rug, with right side of Rug facing and using a crochet hook, draw the folded end up through any sc of last rnd (Fig. 1) and pull the loose ends and yarn tails through the folded end (Fig. 2); draw the knot up tightly. Using picture as a guide, repeat for fringes in sc of last rnd. Lay flat on hard surface and trim ends
